Name
Applicator Training Session II: Focus on the Endangered Species Act (ESA) and Other Key Issues
Date & Time
Tuesday, January 7, 2025, 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM
Description
In addition to some of the important safety and legal considerations in play for professional pesticide applicators, this year's applicator training will focus on an incredibly important, emerging topic in the agricultural application sector: Changes to the Endangered Species Act (ESA), which are bringing changes to pesticide labels and new requirements for both applicators and farmers. These changes are court-ordered and are likely to be with us going forward, so it is critical for all those in agriculture to focus on them! Throughout the day, presenters will discuss elements of this new topic and issues to consider.
