Frequently Asked Questions: 2023 Winter Conference & Trade Show

Why the change to a two-day conference?
The MABA Winter Conference has been a premier industry event for many years. We want to make sure it meets your needs. The change reflects the feedback we continue to receive from members, indicating a two-day conference is easier to attend in today’s busy environment. It also reflects prior year attendance data showing us that the first two days of the Winter Conference are extremely well-attended, and “Day Three” sees less attendance.

What other changes should be expected?
Registrants are welcome to attend our early registration reception on the evening of Monday, January 9 for registration pickup and a complimentary first drink! During the morning of Tuesday, January 10, registration materials and a "grab and go" breakfast will be available for attendees.

Will credit opportunities change?
Hosting two full days allows us to offer nearly as many credit hours as we would otherwise offer in three days. In addition, several RUP and CEU hours are scheduled virtually on December 15-16, 2022, continuing an added benefit for Winter Conference registrants that was added in 2020. An attendee who joins us for the virtual credit sessions in December, as well as the full two-day Winter Conference, stands to earn up to 23 CEU/RUP credits.

Will Applicator Training opportunities change?
Applicator training is a critical part of the conference and these activities remain the same. Applicators can count on a full-day, six RUP/CEU program on Tuesday, January 10, 2023. The Applicator Training will also be available via live broadcast during that time for anyone registering for the conference.

Will the conference be available virtually?
Most sessions will be in-person only. Applicator Training I and II on Tuesday, January 10, and the Tuesday Luncheon session will be available via live broadcast for all conference registrants. Registration cost remains the same for in-person and virtual attendees.

Are exhibitor booths still available at the Trade Show? Where can I find Trade Show information?
Booths are still available for exhibitors, but spots are filling up fast. To learn more about the trade show, click here. For questions, contact our Trade Show Coordinator, Rose Plummer at rose@miagbiz.org
