Trade Show : 2024 MABA Winter Conference

The Michigan Agri-Business Association (MABA) invites you to participate in the 91^st Annual Winter Conference and Trade Show, to be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, January 9-10, 2024, at the Lansing Center in downtown Lansing.

The most recent MABA Trade Show was a big success with a new floor plan and layout! In 2024, we are continuing to adjust this special event in response to your feedback. Here are key changes for 2024:

Additional Trade Show Time! We’ve heard loud and clear that networking opportunities and time in the Trade Show are valued by everyone involved. The 2024 Winter Conference adds a second networking meal to the Trade Show Floor – breakfast on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 – where, as with lunch that same day, a meal will be served and attendees are free to eat in the Trade Show or at booths. As an exhibitor, you will be able to count on a new window where attendees can be on the floor without interrupting their conference experience.

Improved, Higher-Value Opportunities for Equipment Exhibition: Changes in our industry, increased transportation costs and more complex logisti#cs mean bringing big equipment to trade shows has become difficult and costly. Beginning in 2024, a special row of expanded, 12’ x 10’ booths will be available to visualize equipment, machinery and other innovation that previously would have needed a large equipment space at the show. This allows vendors to showcase their new equipment while avoiding the high costs and logistics of transporting it. These booths will be prepared with a table for a multimedia screen or other display. MABA will highly encourage video or other multimedia content at these booths and will coordinate with exhibitors to help! Priority will be given to agricultural equipment and machinery innovation at these spaces, as noted on the floor plan.

Preview of all Trade Show Exhibitors on Rotating Screens: For the first time, MABA will ask each Trade Show exhibitor to provide a single, template PowerPoint slide with your logo, contact information and booth number. These slides will be displayed on a rotating basis on screens spread throughout the Winter Conference – starting well before the Trade Show begins and continuing throughout the Conference. This is one additional way to say “thank you” for participating, and help raise awareness of your Trade Show presence!

2024 Trade Show hours will be as follows:

Tuesday, January 9 from 1:30 - 6:00 p.m. (Load-in Tuesday morning), with an opening reception from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. and a ribbon cutting at 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday, January 10 from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (Load-out Wednesday afternoon), with two meals served in the Trade Show to maximize networking opportunities

2024 Trade Show booth prices will be as follows:

10’ x 10’ - $800 MABA member / $900 non-member

12’ x 10’ - $1000 MABA member / $1,200 non-member – Video or Multimedia Presentation Encouraged – Priority to Equipment Exhibition

**An additional $100 charge will apply to specific corner and hi-visibility booths as noted on the Floor Plan.

These prices include an identification sign, 110 electrical outlet/usage and two conference registrations per booth. The passes will allow access to all sessions and meal functions. Draping and carpeting is provided for all booths. Tables are included with 12’ x 10’ booths. Additional items are available to rent from Art Craft Display, Inc.
