The Michigan Agri-Business Association (MABA) is excited to present the 91st Winter Conference and Trade Show, taking place at the Lansing Center, January 9-10, 2024.

The Winter Conference has a long history as a go-to event for networking, training and certification in the Michigan agriculture industry. The conference is also a chance to look at what’s coming our way in Michigan agriculture, and an opportunity to catch up with industry colleagues.

Frequently Asked Questions: 2023 Winter Conference & Trade Show

What's new this year?
We look forward to building on the success of last year's first-ever, two-day Winter Conference. One important change will be additional time for networking in the Trade Show, with the addition of breakfast in the Trade Show on Wednesday, January 10. Some sessions will return from prior years, and others are newly added to reflect changing trends and interest areas in our industry.
The most recent Winter Conference made substantial changes and improvements to the Trade Show, which will be reflected once again in 2024 following positive feedback from attendees!

Will credit opportunities does the conference offer?
Offering RUP and CEU credit hours remains a cornerstone of this event. In addition to more than 75 hours of credits across the two-day conference, we continue to offer the added benefit for Winter Conference registrants of virtual credit sessions in December 2023. An attendee participating in both the virtual event in December and the Winter Conference itself could earn up to 22 RUP and CCA credit hours. MABA strives to offer a diversity of RUP credits, including those in high demand such as Cat. 4, 6, FUM, etc. alongside core and 1A/B/C categories.

Will there once again be an opening reception?
Registrants are welcome to attend our early registration reception on the evening of Monday, January 8 for registration pickup and a complimentary first drink! Details will be sent to registered attendees.

Will Applicator Training opportunities change?
Applicator training is a critical part of the conference and these activities remain the same. Applicators can count on a full-day, six RUP/CEU program on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.

Will the conference be available virtually?
The 2024 conference will not be livestreamed. MABA offered livestreaming of sessions during the past three years to ensure maximum flexibility for the conference. We are making the decision to end livestreaming for 2024 based on 2023 attendance data showing relatively few attendees using this option.
